The Marsh March

An unwelcoming swamp, a disturbing atmosphere, unknown sounds from whatever creatures hanging around...

You have to go through this unholy marsh to progress in the game. Self confident, your character begins a walk at an almost military pace. But be careful, npcs told you about the witch hiding in her forbidden house. And who knows, maybe you'll cross path with ghosts, gnomes, or even... Ali the alligator !

I imagined this as the soundtrack to a place the player has to get through, like a maze filled with danger. The further you go, the more you find it's not empty. Actually, each minute spent into the swamp makes you more and more surounded and the stress increases.

Therefore, the music expand from a walking with uncertain feelings towards an intense ending where all the creatures are chasing you as you're trying to reach the exit, with differents instruments melting together to translate the swarming life appearing litlle by little.
